Thursday.

Wanted to take early leave after what the school treated the students on Wednesday - like prisoners.

Then now that vice principal interrogated me like a criminal. MJ is pathetic.. Go ahead and doubt the students. Retain them. Psycho them. Keep them in.

Try as you might, you cannot force students to do things against their will. They will only resent you more.

A mere medical certificate IS just a piece of paper. So these educators are only concerned with paperwork rather than the health of students. These two years, even when I am genuinely sick, teachers only call to ask for medical certificates rather than ask about the well-being of the students.

That speaks just as much for how good/caring the teachers are.





Wed is like so boring la.
We thought that we could sneak out of school undetected by the teachers.
Then, we realised that the gates were locked and main gate was guarded by marshalls and teachers.
We tried to do something new and climb outta the gate via the street soccer court there.
Budden, noooo~.. A P.E teacher had to spot us while it's our turn to climb out.
Luckily he didn't go report us.
We then wanted to go climb via the backgate..
Our doubts and fears got the better of us as there was a suspicuous camera pointing towards the gate. LOLS.
We then chilled out at the library watching DEUCE BIGALOW.
Pizza hut and Canadian Pizza service really lack much to be desired.

Canadian Pizza : First sentence spoken was - Location location..
I was like HUh? What? I could hardly make out what that person was saying.
Haiz..

Pizza Hut customer service was lacking in experience/knowledge/skills. Lol whatever. She couldn't FIGURE out the postal code of Meridian Junior College.
LMAO... It's in Pasir Ris, it's the only junior college in Pasir Ris, it's in street 71.. Even without the postal code, these details will suffice, wouldn't it?
Unfortunately, noooo~
She took 20 minutes TRYING to figure it out.
Hard pressed for time, I called back later. Now comes a guy who takes another 10 minutes to figure it out =.=!!!!!

When the pizza came, the delivery man was dumb enough to go to the GO to look for me. LOL! I told him to give me a call when he arrived. He didn't do as he was told. That's another strike for poor service/attending to customer's instructions.

Bad day.





Friday was a super chiong day sia.
After school, the six of us, Yong Cheng, Sathya, Aloysius, Jin Yuan, Daniel and I was like gonna go for lunch, budden Yong Cheng didn't wanna go to subway, so he didn't join us.
On the bus heading towards Pasir Ris MRT station, Daniel was like pestering us to take bus 15 over to Tampines..
I know what he's thinking of... He has a bus pass, so he wants to take bus. And since I don't like to see things going so smoothly all the time, when Sathya asked " wan or not? ".. I said no, we go accompany YC take MRT... Then Daniel got pissed off... IF he wants to go subway now, he has to spend another 45 cents on bus fare. SOooo... He just went off together with Yong Cheng on the MRT when the others alighted at Tampines. SO good sia!! =).. I wanna study psychology if it always work to my favour...

After Subway, we parted with Jin Yuan and headed over to the gym. Jin Yong then came over to the gym too.
Over a period of one hour, I feel that I didn't accomplish much since most of the time was spent at the benchpress with the 4 of us taking turns. Didn't do most of the machines.

Went to meet YZ at Bugis. Went down to Queensway shopping centre. Went through the first storey to look for shoes and training attire, but decided to go with the shoes seen back in the first shop. Bought another shirt there too. JY bought a nike shirt. I think his shirt quite nice sia!! >.<...
The adidas shoes cost me 79 dollars and the shirt cost me 59 dollars.

Rushed over to cineleisure.
Met Pat, Kia Tar and Shurong.
Went over to pastamania for dinna despite running a bit close to late.
Shude then come and join us. =) =)
Didn't finish my pasta... Still feeling sick.. and the fughi pasta... erm.. not very appetising..
Was late by a few minutes for the movie.
Sat behind a skin head guy.. Before even seated, he was " shhh-ing " us le.. Such a bastard. Sorang guy.. bleahx.. little lonely man..
But then, lonely couldn't cut it.. HE WAS SITTING SO FREAKING UPRIGHT until I had to follow suit to watch the movie without watching his head.
The sound of him scratching his head... za za za... eeeee~!!

THe movie was quite nice though... I like the graphics :)
followed up, there was pandanomia when Jin Yong lost his wallet... hahha.. but we found it in the end. And thanks for shude, i didn't lose my phone. I thought i heard a thump sound when i stood up, but didn't look for it, until shude told me =)

THen, I saw Ivan again... The first friend i made during the chingay training. Lol... saw him 3 times by coincidence liao la...

Went over to BK for shurong's dinna...
He posed an IQ question..
Got stumped.
Answer revealed, I still was stumped.
Before leaving, I got Kia Tar to go through the question again, still got stumped.
Split le, left with YZ and JY and got them to go through it again. FINALLY GOT IT LE :p...

Reached home quite late... Tried on the adidas shirt... Shooo love it!! It matches the pants i bought 2 weeks ago at the same shop. Same design sia. F+50... IT's a set!!! =))...

Tired le sia.. still sick =(





Is the educational system screwed up?
Teachers assist students in their studies, but what happens when we get an inefficient teacher?
We suffer, our grades plummet, our future seems bleak.
Following the advancement to support the knowledge based economy, the education policies has made our lives like hell. What's with the ever-changing education system once every 2-3 years? We need to review over the fundamental block of learning.
The teachers.
Are people scrambling for the post of teachers just so that they can secure for themselves an iron rice bowl?
Or are there meaningful sustainable reasons?
I am sure that there are some who have a deep underlying reason for teaching and those who have the passion.
But I ain't sure that there are not any of those who apply for the job as it's a slack job.

Day in day out, go online, print notes, write on whiteboard, students copy, end of lesson.

Does the teachers play with our grades like that? That's selfish. Or is it cause the teachers are incompetent? They should go back to the school.

Maybe the plan to attract more teachers through higher pay should be reviewed. It's back to the drawing board for them. How can teacher's competence be quantified?

I see people who devote all their time to their studies. What does that do to their social lifes? Are they able to survive out in the economy? Being soft spoken and introvert, but bearing the positive attitude to follow the wishes of teachers and completing all the homework on time.
I wonder how they can survive in the Man eat Man world? Maybe the schools need to teach them some social skills.

They ace their tests, but can they make it in the real world?
